What sets this Blue Curved Mirror apart is its size, color and texture.  It’s very large almost monolith like and in combination with the color choice and texture make a visually appealing item.  This mirror can mount on the wall or stand on the floor and leaned against the wall.  Currently all of my wood materials are from Richelieu in Buffalo, NY and they are fantastic to deal with.  https://www.richelieu.com/us/en/.  Blue Curved mirror is large and has a commanding presence in the room. Curves are a emphasized in this piece and are what create its gesture and movement.  After the profile shapes is complete, I grind the shape of the mirror surface.  After the profile is complete the texturing process starts.  I use a shallow sweep gouge and texture in the correct grain direction and consistently overlap a pattern.  The result is a beautiful texture that highlights the surface.   A base coat of green on first, and a topcoat of blue over the green.   I lightly sand the high spots to show the underlying green.  2 to 3 coats of lacquer are put on over the paint and texture..  This piece has 2 connection points on the back if you want to hand it on the wall.  This piece is unique and timeless and would be an amazing addition to anyone’s home.
